Hello,
Still hacking away at Sword's End! I'm not 100% on the name, but I'll lock it in soon I suspect. I've burned through my combat milestone over December, so the game has health, damage, heals, death and resurrection (all undoable). I've also built a couple of more involved abilities like...
- Charge: charge in a straight line towards an enemy, dealing 1 damage per tile travelled.
- Headbutt: deal 4 damage to an adjacent target, take 2 damage
- Pinch: deal 2 damage to an adjacent. Double the damage if the target is to the left or right. and more. Here's a clip
On player death, I've added a simple "undo 1 turn" button which was basically free (implementation wise), but showed me a handful of bugs around death/resurrection undos, undoing over-heals, clamping health after taking damage, etc. All cleaned up now. Here's a different clip
